- A Benin high court has remanded the Edo woman leader of the APC and 4 others in jail, over allegations of committing contract fraud to the tune of N1.5 billion
- The EFCC claims that the accused used their offices while serving as board members of the Edo Universal Basic Education Board, to perpetuate the alleged crime
- Justice Ohimai Ovbiagele who presided over the matter, adjourned the case until Friday, October 13, for ruling on bail
The Edo woman leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aisosa Amadasun, and four others, have been brought before a Benin high court, for allegedly committing contract fraud to the tune of N1.5 billion, NAN reports.
The other defendants in the case are: Adama Osabuohien, Prince Stephen Alao, Dove Momodu and Ali Sulayman.
